Classic, high
detail maps of Kamchatka for orienteering
while in the wilderness. This collection
of maps has long been the resource that
local Kamchatkans use when traveling on
the peninsula. Printed in the form
of a paperback atlas by the Russian Cartographic
Agency, this one publication consists of
76 separate maps and covers a total of 182,500
square kilometers!
The maps are in Russian but a convenient
map on the inside of the cover page indicates
the area covered by each page of the atlas,
letting you determine how to find the area
that you are interested in.
The Atlas of 2km Maps: Southern Kamchatka
provides coverage from the southern tip
of the peninsula to the 55th paralle and
includes the Kommandorsky Islands.
For maps of the central and northern part
of the peninsula see the Atlas
of 2km Maps: Central Kamchatka.
These are the most detailed maps of the
Kamchatka Peninsula currently available
anywhere and we are pleased to be able to
offer them for the first time outside of
Kamchatka.
Maps labeled in Russian.
