"This field guide is for
those who want to learn about the vegetable
world of Kamchatka Peninsula - for tourists,
schoolchildren, and all nature lovers.
Due to limits of volume, representatives
of only vascular plants genera and families
are included. For the strange plants,
only few having widely spread in Kamchatka
are represented. Families are arranged
according to the Engler's system, genera
within families - according to alphabet
of their Russian names. As a rule,
each genus is represented by one species,
but in some cases there are several species
for corresponding genera (if they have food,
medicinal, or ornamental importance).
